The story of Steins;Gate takes place in Akihabara and is about a group of friends who have managed to customize their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them. Steins;Gate is based on 5pb. and Nitroplus' visual novel of the same name. The series was published in English by Udon Entertainment from November 12, 2015, to April 26, 2016. It was also released in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC from April 2015 to June 2015; and in Russian by XL Media from May 23, 2015, to November 10, 2015.
