Build

We depicting the never ending cycle of construction and demolition in the human consumption. It was exhibited at re-constructed disaster area in Kobe. TOCHKA's video animation work BUILD was made in 2001 for the people of any generation. The BUILD was made with their inspiration from the city of Kobe where the people recovered from the earthquake in just 5 years and from our fear toward the society of materialism.

The BUILD was originally made as a video installation work shown in an event Foreign Settlement Distinct Movie Theater in Kobe. 2001. The original version requires three video projectors to project 15 meters high image on a wall outside where you feel images falling down on your head.
